Lyme Bay Arts is a membership-based organisation dedicated to providing mentoring and showing opportunities to artists and craftspeople of all levels of experience. If you become an associate, for a modest annual fee you will have access to support from our expert volunteers and directors as well as the opportunity to exhibit your work in our acclaimed gallery.

Benefits of associateship

Lyme Bay Arts associates pay £75/year (or £6.50/month), for which you get advance notice of opportunities like open and associate exhibitions, as well as a 15% discount on the fees for exhibiting in open and small group/solo shows. We are also in the process of developing an online presence to sell your cards and prints – a real necessity these days when footfall in the gallery is bound to be lower.

Because the gallery was closed for the lockdown, existing members will get 3 months’ free subscription this year. For example, if you were due to rejoin in June, you won’t now be invited to become an associate till September, and new joiners won’t be billed till then either.

We don’t know when we’ll be able to start running indoor workshops with the current restrictions, but we hope to start developing one-to-one mentoring and also some outside events.
