Meet our Members
Lyme Bay Arts is a community-based enterprise of over 100 artists, makers and art organisations from the Southwest. It runs two permanent exhibition venues on the Symondsbury Estate in Dorset, organises outreach showcases in the UK and abroad, generates promotion in the media, and provides its associates with educational and social events like talks, workshops, demonstrations and mentoring. We are developing an online selling facility.
Please note: Since the Covid-19 lockdown, our permanent exhibition sites at Symondsbury have been re-organised and provisioned in keeping with government restrictions; other events are currently on hold.

We are normally open Thursday-Monday from 10:30-16:30, but if you’re coming specially to visit, please call first to make sure the gallery is open. (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
While you are here, there are several other shops and a café to visit, as well as country walks on the estate and animals to see.
