A change of directorships

Best wishes, Elizabeth!

Lyme Bay Arts is run by a community interest company (CIC), with a board of directors. We are writing to let you know that, as of Thursday 27th May, Elizabeth Richie resigned as a director after three successful and hard-working years, and will be leaving us to concentrate on her own artistic pursuits, which have inevitably had to take a back seat. As you probably know, Elizabeth was instrumental in setting up Lyme Bay Arts as a CIC, and she has worked tirelessly while we were open and during lockdowns, not only with developing the business, but also practically with helping to set up and steward exhibitions, and securing much-needed funding.

I hope you’ll join us in thanking her for her dedication, and we wish her a very creative and fulfilling time in future.

Lois Wakeman (currently the Company Secretary) has agreed to join the board as a director, and Andy Benson – who has much-needed commercial business experience – has also agreed to become a director. We are hoping to find one or two more board members to take us forward, in due course. If you’re interested, drop us a line at contact@lymebayarts.co.uk.
