We’re delighted that our first Open after the lockdown received such tremendous support – over 80 people have submitted 160 pieces of work, and we’ve already made some significant sales. It all goes to show just how important art and craft are for our wellbeing in trying times – artists are one of the many groups to have had a hard time during lockdown.
The courtyard in front of the galleries is now full of imaginative land art by local artist John Calder entitled “Primordial Life”, to entice visitors to explore what we have to offer.
The exhibition fills both of our gallery spaces, and there’s a wide variety of subjects and media to suit all tastes. We are open every day except Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.30-4.30, and the exhibition runs till 31st August.
